SAN JOSE, Calif. —October 2, 2026 — SPARK Social will open its second Bay Area location in San José’s Creekside neighborhood on Friday, October 9, 2026. The new destination expands on SPARK Social SF’s blend of rotating food trucks, family-friendly amenities, and community events to the South Bay, bringing the neighborhood together seven days a week starting this fall.
Located at 140 Montgomery St., SPARK Social San José will feature a mix of rotating food trucks and 12 permanent food vendors, creating opportunities for locally owned culinary businesses to connect with the surrounding community. Confirmed vendors include The Breakbox, Mr. Shrimp, Pana, House of Tiffins and Matcha Matcha.
Beyond food, SPARK will feature a full bar, a Mexican-inspired coffeehouse and reservable cabanas and fire pits for gatherings and celebrations. Guests can play Creekside Greens, an 18-hole putt-putt course, while families can explore the Clubhouse, a dedicated family space with a playground and daily activities ranging from Tinkering Tuesdays to Tales Thursdays.
“San José is a city with a deep sense of pride, culture and community,” said Carlos Muela, CEO of SPARK Social. “As we expand to the South Bay, our focus is creating a space that reflects this spirit and spotlights the locally owned businesses and vendors that make this neighborhood unique.”
A full-production outdoor stage with professional lighting, sound and a large LED screen will host live music, events and watch parties throughout the year, extending the space beyond food and recreation. The venue will create a platform for local performers and businesses while offering San José residents new experiences throughout the week.
